Sorry! I meant Britain cancel!
I found this in my duplicates stash. Dr. Barnardos was a place for orphaned children that were sent from Great Britain to Canada from 1869 to the 1930's(I googled this).
My question is..how does a Canadian private organization end up as a stamp cancel on this stamp?

PS..I have some other neat cancels from Britain, but most are not complete

Hello rockinrobin.......

It would appear that someone proposed the design and it was accepted. Their reasons for that might never be known, but obviously someone cared enough to make the effort.
