Nice pics alanl. Any spare airplane? I have a problem getting a clear "cropped" (close up) picture when it's time to scan and crop the picture Question : I scan with 600dpi (more pixels per inch) so I can get a nice and clear result after I crop. The result is not what I expect. The image is not as clear as the one you brought up with "the airplane" I have an HP Photosmart C5180 all-in-one with an excellent video card (2Go memory). Maybe there is something I'm doing wrong It's probably not the place for this kind of request, but I take a chance |

I have only found one of the airplane so far but I will keep you in mind. I scan the whole stamp picture at 600 and the close-up at 1200. I use a program called ImageMagick for cropping and adjusting size. Your pics do seem to be off colour and a bit rough. My scanner is an HP scanjet 3570c which I got at a thrift shop for 8 bucks. It came with the wallwart power supply, usb cable and the CD. And it works! |

I'll do that, thanks beautiful this moon. I've been looking for her and for the "extra spire" through thousand stamps If ever you have a double... I guess this is not the place to talk about trading so I won't talk about it. |

I`ve only found one moon so far and no spires. I`ve looked at 16,000 sheet stamps. I still have 25,000 off paper to look at. I think I should get busy! |

On this one the poor queen has a hole in her head! A black dot above the left eye. |

That's a good one I'm pretty busy with the Small Queens right now but I'll keep an eye open to my centennials. I have "seriously" sorted them up to the 3 cents and gathered the rest here and there. Keep on showing your varieties... very interesting. As soon as I found one, I will post it like this one here : #459 extended frame lower right |

Your scans still don`t look right. I wonder if you have the brightness set too high? Of course i`m not an expert. I just plugged my scanner in and used it. |

This one is easy to find. Streaks across the forehead. Note the right frame line, there`s lines streaking out there as well. |

Enjoying all the pics here. Made me look for some of my own. Here is one on the 4c. Looks like the queen has a rash on her neck. |
