This stamp has a dot on the neck. I looked at thousands of these but only found 2 copies. Sc 459. 6 cent Orange, Perf 10. This is not a listed variety. |

Nice find, I just checked the Centennial Definitive Handbook (July 2000)by Robin Harris and it is not listed in there.

Thanks for posting all these varieties I always enjoyed your posts.
Even though I'm not a fanatical flyspecker like you and some others here it is another fun part of stamp collecting. |

Here we have a row of dots above the bottom frame line. You can see them in the lower left margin. Hard to see on the left side of stamp. If you look careful they can be seen under the CANADA. I have 3 copies of this. Sc544. |

To me, your last entry appears to be a slight downward shift of the black printing causing the image to extend below the bottom margin.
I too appreciate your many, many postings. |

Doubling of the `stage` of postage. Sc460 Perf 12.5x12. Die I. I posted the Orange version of this variety on page 27. Now I have found it on the Black 6c. I think it might be a re-entry. |

An example of the same plate being used for both orange and black 6c stamps. Mark in top left margin. Sc 460, perf 12.5x12, row 1 stamp 10. I posted the orange version on page 8. |
