Hi all,

I collect japan & usa ( used only ). have been searching for software & narrowed it down to Ezstamp ( leaning towards it right now )and stamp manage. I have looked online & read reviews on both. stamp manage seems to have some real support issues and problems. I found this on Amazon
"1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of Money!, February 16, 2012
By Chalucch "Chalucch" (Atlantic City, NJ) - See all my reviews
This review is from: StampManage USA 2011 Scott Catalog Stamp Collecting Software (CD-ROM)
Program was written by a real bone-head. Very incomplete listing of worldwide stamps. Missing subcatagories, saves imputed entries to wrong country-just a complete & utter mess. The deeper you get into the program the more obvious the ineptitude of the creator is revealed. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! " and more.
I had a heck of a time installing it ( 18 hours ) & then it crashed on me. I had a friend help me out and we finally got it going but it is still wonky. stampmanage is a lot cheaper than Ezstamps, but I do not want to waste my money if the darn thing is no good and cant get help if needed. ezstamps was easy to install and I emailed them a few times and got emails back within 10 minutes. I could not even find a phone # for stampmanage. are these guys legit. I tried to register on their forum but could not get registered. anyone have any experience with either of these programs. would like to make a purchase this weekend so will wait to hear from anyone here.

thank you
Kenny

Surprised no one responded to my initial questions. Oh well. Never did get ANY response from stampmanage.
Was hoping this forum was more active. In any case, this may help someone else. I ended up going with ezstamp. Far more comprehensive than anything else and their timeliness to questions is quite remarkable. program is pretty amazing & it suits me quite well. I bought it yesterday & they gave me a download version to use right away until the dvd arrives. it's better than I had hoped for

Welcome to Stamp Community Forum, Kenny!

I missed this thread. Sometimes you have to bump your thread up, as members start new threads quite frequently now, so even relatively new threads can get buried pretty quickly if few people were online when you first posted.

Although you have already made your purchase, there are a few older threads that discuss this. Here is one of them:
