Just turned this up in among my 'miscellaneous' items so thought I would post it here before it goes as it does not fit in with my areas of interest. A really lovely production by the American Banknote Company in black on blue paper and issued 10 November 1905, I understand. The portrait of Edward VII is superb.

It seems to be quite a scarce thing. Chris Wren

Hate to think what you mean "before it goes". That is quite a handsome specimen. Beautiful job by the ABCo.

Note - Unitrade lists this unused VF at $1000.00. $15000 if it is watermarked. Worth hanging on to, I would think.

Note 2 - Yours is much better centred than the example in the catalogue! Good on ya!

I knew it was scarce but didn't know it was rated that high - thank you for telling me! Anyway, it is up on ebay...... It does not seem to be watermarked but I will certainly check that out. I knew it was listed in Drummond as OSD1 but do not have a copy of it.
