Jamaica Stamp With "1895" Perf?

Just noticed this little item. I think this may have been from an envelope used to send film for processing. Note the "1895" perfed into the sugar industry stamp.

I'm thinking maybe this was done after the item was mailed, perhaps the 1895 is a customer number.

Thoughts?

since it goes through both the stamp and the envelope, I am thinking it's not a perfin, but probably some kind of identification punch from the recipient.

I`ve seen lots of these on Canadian stamps found in
mixtures. It`s some kind of handling number.

Stupid me only just now noticed the "Kodak" name on the address label! It sort of looks like it was purposly made double sided. Also, note how the left edge of the top stamp is covered by paper...
