That could be BeeSee

This was a good 10 or more years ago but was enough to sour me on the feedback system - in spite of what one of our newer members think <G>

I have been selling and buying on ebay since 1996. They have changed there rules a few times but in most cases to protect the buyers. Most fraudulant sellers will jump in and then jump out with the cash in a short time period. Now, with Paypal protecting you from the scum bags, they are protecting them selves buy holding on to the cash until you have made it clear you are NOT a fraud artist. Sounds fare to me.

In the passed week or so ebay has stopped withholding payments to us.

Our payments can now be transferred as soon as they are payed into our pay pal account.

We also became Top-rated sellers on our .com(USA)store at the same time.

Our Australian stamps have & are being listed by .com to .com.au(AUS) and we have been Top-rated sellers for about 6 months on .com.au .

When I list now on .com, as normal the nasty orange(screaming) "Are You Sure Your Listing Is Correct And True." Has disappeared thank goodness. It was very offensive to me and I saw it over 2,500 times.

This is a huge victory to us to be Australian based and trusted by ebay USA. It is very nice to have these privilege's and we hope very much we can keep them. The customers like the Top-rated sellers symbol on our listings as well.

It just goes to show there is a light at the end of the ebay tunnel!

When it comes down to every angle, on & about ebay it is all about trust. Totally about trust and protection to all players!

If someone leaves negative feedback, because he feels shipping is to expensive, something clearly written in the listing, is there any recourse as a seller?

There is nothing accept a once only chance to activate a message from ebay to the buyer to change the feedback they left.

The only time I used it was after I solved the issue the buyer had and then sent the automatic ebay message for a feedback change.

Apologies if this thread is a little stale, but a few comments regarding my more recent activities on ebay.

I sell quite a bit in ebay and there are a few issues that are disappointing

a) I recently sold a bag of commems ( as received from a charity )
The bag was unopened by me, and sold as received. The buyer for some reason expected to find 10% - 15% of unfranked in this lot.
( where he got that I have no idea - not in my description )

He refused to send the stamps back for a refund , but just wanted a full refund. In the end he left a neutral ( but libelous ) feedback.

As a seller, I was unable to leave a negative feedback ( which I considered he duly deserved ) All I could do is write a response to his feed back , which is severely restricted to a set number of characters - hardly usable

With respect to recourse, I did eventually get ebay to remove the feedback, but had to threaten legal action against them for the libelous comments. I should add this is the only buyer I have ever wanted to leave negative feedback for.

I think one of ebay's biggest problems is the time it takes them to respond - this needs to be improved. If you have a problem, you want action now, not in 3 or 5 days time !

Anyway, sorry my first post here is a long one, But I am Bionicbelly ( David ) and I am a stampaholic "

Kind Regards to All

Bionic
