So, as I was adding sheets I made to my Mystic Heirloom album, I noticed the blank pages I printed on (which are Mystic blank pages), don't line up with the existing pages. The holes are on the blank pages are farther in than the album pages.

So, I contacted Mystic and they sent me a new pack of blank pages at no charge.

I took a good look at the new blank pages and the 2010 and 2011 supplements, and came to realize that the WHOLE ALBUM is punched wrong. The blank pages are fine.

Now, if I contact Mystic, I'm sure they'll happily send me a new album, since their customer service really is outstanding. But there is no way I am remounting everything AGAIN. So, I guess I just need to deal with it.

Just warning others to double check their albums before they break the plastic.

You should dump the Heirloom, that thing is going to end up sending you to the nut hut someday.

Yeah, well, I'm using the Minuteman from 2000 on at the point. I've been getting supplements for around $5-$7 each on ebay and Bidstart. I have 2000-2005 so far, and bought 2011 from my local stamps store.

For 2011, I didn't need to modify ANY pages.

I actually sent an email to Amos. I noticed a lot of their supplements are print-on-demand. So, I figured they were able to print pretty much anything on demand. So, I asked if they could do a web only print-on-demand option for the Minuteman album on Scott National paper. The customer service rep said she would forward it along and see what becomes of it.

I basically told her that I would buy the Scott National, if it had descriptions under the stamps, but since it doesn't, I am going the Minuteman route, but just wish the paper was a bit thicker.

I don't think anything will come of it, but I figure, if they can do it print on demand only on their website, it might not cost them a darn thing just to add the option.

Mystic customer service is outstanding. I sent them an email just to tell them that might want to check their stock. I told them I was not planning to deal with remounting, so I'll just deal with the situation.

They sent me an email telling me that they're going to send me a whole new set of complete album pages in case I decide to remount in the future at no charge.

I have to say, I am very impressed. Their customer service is outstanding.

Yes, Mystic may be expensive on stamps, but their supplies and service are A-OK. The speed with which they get you your order is great, and wonder of wonders, their shipping charges are very low.

I agree. People complain often about their stamp prices, but their customer service and supplies are outstanding. +1 for how they dealt with this situation.

WOW..... sorry to hear of your problems. I have used the Heirloom albums for years and luckily never had a problem. I will agree that Mystics customer service is excellent and shipping is fast. I have never bought stamps from them but I do buy albums and supplies. Their mounts are great.

True to form, a new set of Heirloom pages arrived in the mail today, with all supplements including 2011. Since I don't need them, they up for sale in the appropriate forum for the cost of shipping.
