Nickmang, I have a small portable short wave UV lamp and I think I only paid around $30 for it so I wouldn't think it would be economical to have it repaired. If you have a multimeter, you might want to check the bulb to see if the filament is broken. On my lamp there is a small screw on the end cap where you insert batteries so removal of the screw and end cap may give you access to the bulb. You could go back to the retailer to see if they sell replacement bulbs but I would think the bulb is quite expensive. My only other suggestion is to make sure that the batteries are correctly inserted into the lamp.
