I have an opportunity to buy a clean collection of these - the seller is offering it at about 25% of catalog price. Does the catalog reflect real prices these days? Does anybody buy these? What would a dealer typically pay? Thanks for any guidance.
If you have the chance to get Canadian revenues, and they are not the normal regular run-of-the-mill stamps, at 25% of catalogue value, then I would go for it.
A lot of dealers are selling at 80% of the Van Dam CV.
Usually, when revenues are listed in the Canadian Stamp News, that is usually the price range % point, plus or minus a few.
