Can You Identify This Great Britain Barred Oval "D21"

In the Back of the Scott Classic specialized they identify a similar stamp with a Great Britain barred oval "G06" as a British P.O. opened in Beirut in 1873 closed in 1914.
The underlying stamp is Scott 79 1p red brown with the crown watermark 30 perf 14, thank you for any help you can provide

Tony, I checked my Book of British Post Office Numbers 1844 - 1906 by G. Brumell and D21 is shown belonging to Richmond, Surrey.
