Does anyone have a list - or a link - to the correct sizes needed for most Canadian stamps.

I hope to move my Canadian collection from stock books into more of an album look and I would like to mount many of them.

I guess I hope to get the millimeter sizes, what basic type of stamp it matches to, and, if anyone has it, manufacturer letters/codes for those sizes.

THANKS!

Thanks ...bobgggg.

That helps some, though, not exactly what I was hoping for. It gives 3 manufacturers' products, but you have to click on each one for description and even then it seems that most of the descriptions are based on US stamps.

Aren't Canadians sized a little differently?

I have entered almost all of the Canadian stamps into my albums from 1851 up to 1995. I am using the "S" type strips (top opening) and the majority of the stamps fit into the following mounts (in mm):

21, 24, 26, 29, 31, 36, 41, 48.

One package of 21 and 48 will do all the stamps of those sizes, but I have used between 4 and 10 packages of all the other sizes. You will also need some 120 and 150 for souvenir sheets. See the link below for the mounts I am referring to. These mounts are measured by the stamp size, so a 24mm mount fits a 24mm tall stamp, etc. The Canadian stamps are quite random in width, so if you wanted the pre-cut width ones, you would need hundreds of different mount sizes.

A lot of the stamps changed sizes after 1995, so I have been using a lot of 33 as well for the 1996 to 2000 issues.
