Hi guys

looks like the Queen's jewel is floating and not attached to her neckless.

Wert

Whether it is floating or attached to her necklace, it probably still is worth a fortune,or, should I say worth a lot of stamps? lol.

But Bujutsu, if it is floating and not attached to her neckless and she loses it, it will be worth less...

Hi. I don't have my Centennial Definitive handbooks available but I don't recall it as being a listed variety. Rick

You have a point, I will be trying to see if anyone else on this forum has the same variety or I will try to dig up additional information on this floating jewel.

Wert, I checked a few of my copies of this stamp and noticed that the clasp for the jewel is more distinct in the first stamp below than the second one of mine.

mhc99..I am glad you posted those 2 pictures.
Now I see what is happening, your first stamp is a darker colour than the second, and that is why the clasp is not as noticeable in the second picture, but is in the first picture.

Case closed...Thanks

Not that this has anything to do with stamps, but since this thread is looking at a stamp of Queen Elizabeth and the stamp is from Canada, you might enjoy reading this rather humorous (sarcastic) article about some Massachusetts real estate the Queen recently purchased ... for the Canadian consulate:
