Hi all

I have only attended one stamp show. It was a long time ago, and all I really remember is being overwhelmed.

I am used to certain types of antique and paper/ephemera shows, and those can be overwhelming, too.

This weekend here in MA there is a 3 day stamp show, and I am toying with the idea of dropping by for a peek. I can't spend much money right now, but I wonder if maybe I should...

What advice do folks with show experience have for those of us not used to these events? I know that other shows can be a pain when dealers have a few chairs set up, and they are filled with people who seem to be growing roots. Can bargains be found? Is there any etiquette we need to know? How can I not get lost on a sea of people and sticky paper???
