I cannot locate this item in my Scott Classic Catalogue. It appears
to be China, and I thought it was part of the Martyr's Issue, but
I can't locate, nor tell whether it is a one cent or one ?? Any
help would be appreciated.

It won't be in the Scott Classic because it was issued in 1941 (yeah, you just missed the cutoff, it was the very next set).

Yes, that might have been easier, but then I wouldn't have seen the orange stamp (my favorite color stamp).
