I have no catalogue in front of me, but I couldn't help but notice the difference in the circle making up the sun on each. The blue one looks like dots but the brown one looks very thick/solid. Almost as if one was a reprint or something?? odd.

Wadmalatz, the Scott Classic catalog says that unlisted color varieties exist of this series but were not officially released and that some of these are printers' waste. The catalog doesn't give specific examples.

What 1840to1940 says is correct. The 5h and 20h were regularly issued in a similar bluish color.

As for the dotted and solid sun, these are seen both ways, even on some sheets. There are many, many different varieties throughout individual sheets.

Usually these stamps are referred to as 'Hradcany". Wadmalatz, where does "Hradsin" come from?

As a follow-up, some some proofs of the 1h are now on ebay, including a bluish one:

Thank you all, great informations. It seems, that Michel doesn`t mention colour varieties there.BeeSee, Hradschin (and not Hradsin indeed) is the German name... My German is rusty (and never was good), but Czech is totally unknown to me....;), and maybe I rely too much on Michel
