Spain Renewable Energy February 20, 2009 One of the 4 stamps depicts wind energy. Spain is the world's second biggest producer of wind power. The 2013 data show that wind turbines met 21.1% of electricity demand on the Iberian Peninsula, edging the region's fleet of nuclear reactors which provided 21% of power.  |
