Ĺland 100 Years of Electricity January 22, 2009 Currently 22-25% of the energy produced on the Ĺland Islands is wind generated. The goal is to increase the share to 70%. Excess electricity generated by wind can then be exported to Finland and Sweden.  |

Estonia, 2009. Old windmill at Angla, Saaremaa island.   It's, actually, an open air museum with six old windmills. I was there five years ago. |
