Germany portrait types of russian occupation hopefully they do have watermark 297 wont know till later got to get some ronsil lighter fluid. looking at my scott 207 catalog they seem to have gone up in price quite a bit. knowing my luck they probally the 1948 with watermark 292 stll valued at $11.10

Just don't hold your breath though. I would say that there is a pretty good chance that they are the cheaper ones if they are on the card from that stamp company in your scan. But, who knows, luck does come around every now and then <G>

Even without checking watermarks or shades, we know one of those is a "good" one! There is no 80pf red in the original 1948 set - and that stamp alone catalogues at £14 mint in my 2007 Stanley Gibbons.
So start checking, and let us know what you find!
