apastuszak ... I like your layout although I agree with a previous poster about keeping the text block the same width dimension as the stamp block. Maybe move everything up a tad. We're it mine, I think I would have subtext under USofA reading something like "Stamps of 2012." |

Still tinkering. I appreciate all the feedback. The hive mind will make a nice looking page when it's all done. |

My 2˘.
I like the caption slightly wider than the frame. Makes the layout look less blocky.
Without knowing anything about the 2012 issues... is there another with a vertical layout similar to the Bonsai? Two of those would look nice on a page together, and would remove the biggest obstacle to that page. |

They would, but then the stamps wouldn't be in order of issue on the pages. I can see why album makers don't do order of issue in their layouts.
I agree with you on the description being wider. I think it looks better wider or narrower than the stamp picture.
Looking at White Ace's pages, when a stamp is taller than it is wide, they put the description on the SIDE of the stamp box instead of under it. I might give that a try and see how it looks. |

And Microsoft Pulisher is giving me grief with embedding fonts in pdf files. |

apastuszak,
I've fought that fight before. What process are you using save the pages to PDF? I eventually stumbled onto a solution, but I don't recall the exact fix off the top of my head. |

32-bit or 64-bit?
apastuszak discovered that it doesn't work with 64-bit. It's fixable, but I'm without computer access for a few months. |

32-bit is better. Microsoft Consulting came into our company to help set up our new Windows 7 image. They recommended Windows 7 64-bit with 32-bit Office 2010 because of the amount of compatibility issues. Most Office 3rd party Office addons won't work in 64-bit Office.
I have some v. 1.1 features to request! :-) |

Shoot 'em to me. Even though I'm without my personal computer for a few months, I'm holding out hope that when I get to my new job next week my work computer will have Access/Publisher. |

Relative paths for image locations, so I can use this off a thumb drive between different computers. I guess you could embed the image inside of access as a binary blob, but then the file would grow really big really fast. |
