I was down to Keegan's house the last 2 days and sorted through about 60,000+/- stamps! I brought a few up home to help ID them as we picked out a few that interested him and that he wants to learn more about. Some are not classic but most are so I put it here. I hope that's O.K.? Thank you very much for any enlightenment.

P.S.
I have some pics of him and stuff that I'll upload later on today for you in an update thread.

Briefly your third row has the most variety.
Japan, USSR, Ceylon, India, UAR (Egypt), Egypt

Can't get into too much detail now, have to head out to the nursery for annuals. Nice stamps though. Looks like he's got a good collection going.

Row 3 left to right
Japan #425 wmk 257 or #511 unwmk
USSR #2286 engraved, perf 12.5 or #2290 litho perf 12x12.5
Ceylon #341 type of 1950 redrawn
India - Official #O131 or redrawn type O141. Scott's is pretty vague about what was redrawn.
UAR (United Arab Republic) Official #O73 - stamp is upside down
Egypt Postage due #J17 1889

Thank you for the super fast replies! here is a few more (sorry)
You can see why these were a little overwhelming to us! lol

I really enjoy the cancels on these and I explained to him that the cancel can tell the story of it's postal adventure! He really liked that and like covers now. I'll do those pictures next that I promised you.

Thank you BAYERN1kreuzer. I know it's a shame the stamp is all boogered up but I thought the cancel was very handsome so that's why I posted it. Fascinating that you can read that and better yet that you knew where it was from! Neat. Again, thank you very much!

Fortunately I found a sound double of the stamp but not the cancel. I'll just put them both together on the page and write it up for him Thank you all so very much for your effort.
