So, I am looping back around to White Ace albums.

Yeah, I know, you just can't keep me happy....

So, all I want to mount are single stamps and joined se-tenants. I don't want to do coil pairs, and I don't want to mount whole booklet panes.

If I were to buy the White Ace 2011 Simplified Commemorative Supplement and the 2011 White Ace Simplified Regular Issue stamps, will I be able to mount everything issued in 2011, minus the air mail stamps?

I saw that White Ace has a booklet pane supplement also. Do I need that, if I am not collecting whole booklet panes? If I just want booklet pane singles and se-tenants, are they covered by the other two supplements?

Interesting read. In the simplified pages, they're sticking the whole booklet pane of the holiday baubles stamps in the book, and they're only doing ONE booklet pane, instead of the all three issues. This does make sense, unless the microprint is different between the stamps. I'll have to check Linn's to see how they are cataloged.

I emailed Washington Press and am waiting for them to get back to me. They do sell blank pages with their art, so I could conceivably hack the one holiday baubles page to simply have the 4 se-tenants from the three different sheets on there and be done with it.

Decisions, decisions....

Feedback I got from Washington Press

Quote:
In the Commemorative Singles Simplified all the stamps are shown. In the Regular Issue Singles Simplified all the stamps are show but not varieties. If a stamp has come out in a coil, sheet and booklet we only show 1 picture but you can put whichever stamp you want on it. We hope this answered your question if not please don't hesitate to email us again.

Sounds like there will be some hacking involved to get all varieties to display.

Figured I'd bump this instead of making a new thread. I took a look at White Aces website and Im confused about which pages I should be looking at. Would I need to get the commemorative and regular issue pages if I was looking for a complete album or could I do away with just the regular issue pages? I sent them an email but I figure you also had some insight on the matter. My US collection ends around 1980 so I'm not worried much about se-tenant issues.

If you want to collect everything US, it looks like you will need:

Commemorative
Regular Issue
Air Mail

Wouldn't the commemorative stamps be found in the regular issue pages as well, since they were regular issue stamps? Not understanding the logic behind that, plus the top of each page would differ as you flip pages in the album if you combine commemorative and regular pages. (I don't collect air mail)
