Anyone have hands-on experience with the Forgery Reference Manuals from the German Philatelic Society?

Thumbs up? Thumbs down? Something in between?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

They're pretty good. They don't cover every known forgery, but they do cover the most widespread, well-known ones. They've saved me from having to send a few stamps in for expertizing because I was able to identify them as forgeries from the manuals.
