Thanks, That gives me a starting point. I have a huge amount of stamps from all over the world and I'm just now trying to id them all and organize them in my album. Up until now I have only organized my US stamps.

597596 - hang onto your hinges!! ... because you are in for a ride. Some stamps just defy you trying to identify the country. Thank heaven for this forum where at least one knows the answer to a question!

Here is a "stamp identifier" website with thousands of entries in alphabetical order, will save you much frustration:

Look under Ukraine in your catalog starting at the year of 1918. #'s 6-44.
