Hi all! I just joined the community, and have a few questions. I have recently acquired the large stamp collection my family worked on when we were all kids. This collection has not been touched for 30 to 40 years. I have US, Canadian, and World stamps galore. (In albums, and loose)
I don't know where to begin with evaluating what I have. I know that I can take it somewhere to get it appraised, but I would rather have the experience of working on it myself.
Can anyone give me some advice on where to begin? I would like to know if I have any specific stamps that are valuable, and what I need to look for.
Thanks for any info!
