Got some new overprints from Guyana recently, including some oddities.

Thought I'd share them with you. Comments are most welcome.

Nice gutter strips (or gutter snipes as djd is wont to say)! Any idea what is going on with the overprint on white paper?

Hi Smauggie. Good to hear from you again. I assume you mean the one in the first image, second row, last stamp. This is the rear of the stamp (Oops, forgot to label it. Thanks) caused, I assume, by the sheets making contact while the ink is still wet. It is the same overprint as the stamp beside it.

A better picture of the two stamps below. The front of the second stamp is the same as the first stamp.

I particularly like all the abnormalities that appear on these stamps such as the ghosted 1982 and the double OPS on the stamps below.

Hi Peterethio,

I am jealous, I would love to have those ghost and double overprints. I do have some errors from Guyana and also quite a vast collection but those I don't have, maybe I'll post some of mine on here at a later date.

regards
Martyn
