I just picked up another Argentina collection for about 44 dollars with shipping...so I am working between 4 albums now...why do I do it ? because I learn from each one....some of these were put together by serious collectors who did a lot of the heavy work for me..anotating printing types and watermarks on computer generated pages...Argentina collections go cheap but they are complicated they would issue the same stamp in photo and litho and different or no watermarks...Perhaps not everyones cup of tea...but it keeps me out of trouble and does not break the bank !

Well, yes, I wouldn't expect them for free.

Pre 1970 sounds good.

Nice Phil ! I too am enjoying the South and Central America Stamps and I just picked up a hoard of Argentina local revenues.
I'll have to post some scans soon as they are very interesting. Also I've heard the rumors that the next "China" in Stamp collecting could be South America, but only time will tell.

Hi philb

If you want a copy of the tables that are used in the store for the Departmentals send me an email. The tables cross reference Scott, Stanley Gibbons, Michel and Minkus catalogs.

If you want, I could also send the other Argentina tables that were made:

Agriculture
Flowers
José de San Martin ( 1917 - 1922 )
José de San Martin ( 1923 - 1931 )
Pictorials ( 1935 – 1951 ) Argentina
Pictorials ( 1954 – 1970 ) Argentina
Pictorials ( 1970 – 1978 ) Republica Argentina
Portraits
Soldiers
Symbolic Airplane
