I need to make my way over to Charing Cross again -- haven't been for a while now.

Runnerbrady if you do go to Charing Cross Fair then a short walk and you will find Vera Trinder, Stanley Gibbons and a few other stores dotted around.

Market was poor at Charing cross . Only 4 stamp dealers one of whom didnt seem to want me looking at his material......I must have a bad look about me ! A second had a mass of jumbled up pages on a table . A third had nice material but very expensive , maybe the dealers did not turn up because of the olympics . Then there was the guy < dealer > who didnt want his photo taken . A visitor was taken a photo of the market and this guy went berserk , saying he didnt want his photo taken.......I got out before I got eaten

That is very sad, I havent been to the Charing Cross market in a couple of months but think you might be right about the olympics being a factor.

looks like e-bay and my local auction dealer are my best sources of stamps....thanks for all the help....
