Hi

Do these marks of control have to do with the year of printing ?

For example, B-24 means that it was printed in 1924 and P-31 = 1931 ?

Thank you

jorgesurcl, the numbers in the Control number refer to the year of printing but the letter I'm not so sure about its meaning. I remember reading somewhere that the letters were issued at the start of each fiscal year but someone else may be able to shed more light on its usage.

Any idea what the very small numbers mean---the ones below the large control number and closer to the bottom.

Hi
rohumpy, the very small number is the cylinder number and is equivalent to the plate number.
