How about Saudi Ababia Scott# L43 & L44 with the gold rubbed off? at least until I stand corrected by someone wiser. well it gives an idea.. Caliphate Issue of 1924.

I think these are Transjordan/Jordan, SG 125 and SG 129; overprinted at Amman, Sept.-Nov. 1924. The overprints were applied originally in black. Gibbons' values for the two are £1.25 for the 1/8 Piastre and £9 for the 1 Piastre
