Hello all,
Here are two Japan prefecture stamps. I have been through the prefecture listings (and the main listings) in the 2013 Scott catalog, multiple times, forward and backward, yet these two continue to defy identification. The 50-yen stamp is similar to illustration no. ZA26, but there are differences in the design and denomination. So, I'm reaching out to the SCF community for help. Any and all responses will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers, Robert

Well, I'll be...right there, in front of me the whole time.
Important note: Never try to identify modern Japan stamps with a head cold.
Don, thanks a lot.

Cheers, Robert

Robert,

Japan stamps are tricky, I found the Z670 stamp easy enough, but the Z616 I looked to the Sukura Catalogue which tends to cross-ref stamps better than Scott and then found the stamp in Scotts with the help of the issue date.
