Wert: great site but there sure was a shortage of Canadian postmarks or perhaps I was not searching properly.

cynical...On the web page in the search box top right corner over "United Kingdom", you type an initial (e.g. - looking for Mount Hope, Ontario, you only type in a "M" and all the m's come up)

Just joined this site after being pointed here by a friend ...

I maintain the database mentioned above, but due to various health issues, have not been able to spend as much time on the updates as I would like.

As mentioned, there is at this time a shortage of Canadain marks listed, but after a short spell today, this is now upto 168 listed marks, (all illustrated)

The entire stats for the database can be seen using the link on the main page

The bulk of the database is British postmarks with over 70 percent of these illustrated.

I have thousands of marks that I have to check through then either add the details or ammend what is already listed to bring the details more upto date

Just to keep the information updated (without starting new threads etc) - There are now over 200 Canadian postmarks listed and illustrated

A few entries have also been updated with additional information, (dates etc)
