As a side collection of my "Estonia Post Revival, 1991/1992" I've started looking for letters or postcards with the patriotic/Xmas cinderellas issued by the different Estonian societies (some in Estonia, others on the exile). I consider them, the precedent of the proper Estonian stamps.
So far, I've a number of them, always on covers, that I do consider worthy for the many people here interested on cinderellas. Hopley, it will also attract the attention of Estonian philatelist, that might come up with items far more interesting than mine ones.

1990 cinderella (77 x 36 mm!) devoted to Konstantin Päts 1st Estonia Republic President. Circulated on October 21st, 1990 from Tallinn to Lithuania (arrival postmark on the back).

Two cinderellas issued in October, 16th 1990 by the Estonian Society for the Historical Memory Preservation (Eesti Miunsuskaitse Seltsi, in Estonian), honoring President Päts. Printed in sheets of 10 cinderellas in two rows of 5: upper in grey, with the text "President Konstantin Päts 1874-1956"; lower in blue-grey, with the text: "Returned to the country 21/X/1990"

Both on letters circulated from Tallinn on October 21st 1990.

There was a political emigre group active in producing a variety of labels from the UK in the 1970/80's. This is one I have.

I was aware of the Baltic resistance movements in Sweden and in USA, but I've never seen these British ones. Do you know if they actually circulated? Because I know that, at least, the Swedish cinderellas did.

I remember that these labels were wideley advertised in the philatelic press at the time..early 1980's. I bought a complete sheet(25?)of these and used many of them on covers that I sent to friends. I think that there were other designs issued. I also remember seeing covers produced in the 1960's with patriotic labels of designs reproducing the Estonian stamps of 1919/20. If I have time, maybe I will do a little more research.

Thank you very much for the information. I'm having some scanner problems. When I got this issue solved, I'll show some Swedish produced Estonian cinderellas that I've.
