Our first Scout On Stamps topical page. I think it came out quite nice.

Nice ... but you better spell check the country ... it's The United States of America (not Unites).
Also, you put Boy Scout and Girl Scout stamps together but didn't include the 2012 (Girl) Scout stamp issue.
The stamp for Camp Fire Girls (today known as Camp Fire USA) doesn't really fit, as it's a separate organization not affiliated with the Scouts. (You could even swap out that issue for the 2012 Scouting Stamp and not have to change the layout of the page.)

I like your graphic down at the bottom. It's so nice to see parents sharing the love of the hobby with their kids! Three cheers for you!! |

There was also a World Jamboree air postal card issued in 1967 (UXC7)
Edit: Adding the Boy Scout stamp collecting merit badge might also be a nice touch. |

Bugs Bunny, you've got skills! Nice page and layout and graphic. How did you think of the graphic at the bottom anyway? Where did it come from, if you can say? |

I did a Google Images search on Boy Scout Border and that came up as the fourth image. I went to the site linked: http://www.sunsettrail.cpcbsa.org/ and saw it on the bottom of the page. It was all shrunk in and looked rather odd. I right clicked on it and chose "View Image" and saw it in all it's beauty. Right click, "save image," and off we went to the Mac to layout the page. |

Apastuszak, that is a great effort by yourself and your son. Congratulations on a nice page. |

Thanks. I like it, the idea of it.
It makes you, once you've studied it, want to look back up at the stamps again and see what you might have missed on the stamps. |

wt1,
Camp Fire Girls was started by members of the Boy Scouts of America to be a sister organization to the Boy Scouts of America. It began in 1910 shortly after the BSA. Juliette Lowe started the Girl Scouts, because she wanted a scouting organization for girls that was rum by women in 1912. Camp Fire Girls had men at the top of the food chain.
I haven't looked at the actual Camp Fire USA program, but the fact that they have no issues with gays, lesbians or atheists joining tells me they have a stronger adherence to the scout code than today's BSA does. |

Looks great, Andy! It's great for father/son to be able to work on collecting together. If/when you redo the page to correct the typo, also note that the bottom right corner stamp should be "Juliette Gordon Low" (i.e., without the final "e"). Again, looks great -- and the time well-spent together is priceless! k |

Yeah, I saw the extra "e" and cringed. My son pointed that out to me and I totally forgot to fix it. Doh! |

This might be a nice collateral piece to add to your album page(s) as it relates to the first Boy Scout Stamp (Second National Scout Jamboree). The article appeared in an old edition of Boys Life Magazine: |

Lovely page...well done, If we may be afforded friendly criticism, personally, I would have liked to see the year of issue of each stamp. But perhaps that's just me. I have a catalogue gene Your bottom graphic is just marvelous, adds flavour to the page. If you branch out to world wide here is your Catalogue #1 Scout stamp Africa Seige of Mafeking 1900 Produced by photography.... |
