Apastuszak Nice page! Something you will take pride showing to friends and relatives. Nice to read your son takes interest in stamp collecting. For my Europa collection I do standard pages but spend time writing good topical descriptions. I do the translation to french, I'm french Canadian. |

Ok, we fixed the mistakes and added a few things: 1. Matched the color of the picture on the bottom with the border to give it a more consistent look. 2. Eliminated the gap between the border line and the bottom graphic 3. Added a watermark background of the international scout symbol Here it is with the stamps mounted on it: |

For the curious, Washington Press (the makers of White Ace albums), make very nice blank topical pages for scout stamps: |

Very nice page. I created a first day of issue cachet for the 2012 stamp (which you did not include) on the occasion of my son's troop 50th anniversary. The cachet shows a picture of three former troop members who were all Eagles - a Coast Guard Officer, Army Sargent, and Police Office (all in dress uniforms) but it has not been returned and I fear it was lost in the process. The cop is my son, now 27. I'll post a pic if I ever get it back. |

timbres667,
That's a really nice Europa page! I always thought it would be cool to have a nice descriptive Europa album. A nice way to get a sample from a number of different countries. |

Since I find it impossible to create a nice stamp page layout and not give it away for everyone to use, I have put up the template for anyone to use. Here you go: http://stamphacks.com/wp/?p=194Here is what the blank page looks like: |

Many, many thanks! I am going to start including this in the binders I give to scouts for the stamp collecting merit badge. |

You have no idea how excited my son was when I told him that other scouts were going to use our page design! |

apastuszak Have a look at this blog on Europa stamps. The 2007 theme was for "100 years of scouting" http://europa-stamps.blogspot.ca/search?q=2007Cick countries names you can see all pictures of stamps. I'm not up to date in my Europa collection. The last year I bought was 2006. I buy complete years at reasonnable price so I have to wait they are offer. |
