HungaryForStamps: thanks for the great display of Swiss stamps and for putting on the Sc#'s. I'm elated because I'm missing that particular catalogue volume. I'm tempted to start cataloguing my Swiss stamps but on second thought maybe I will wait until winter. |

1927 Lithographed in Moscow pictorial set Designed by a woman, Madame Olga Amossova. 14 in the set from 1 kop to 1 ruble Huts in background are native tents covered in bark rather than hide or canvas. Tannou Touva (Map of Tannou Touva appears on the 8 kopek value)  |

Here is an image of a stamp depicting Rama, the seventh avatar of the god Vishnu in Hinduism, printed by photogravure, and issued by Indonesia on August 31, 1971 to publicize the International Ramayana Festival, Scott No. 805, plus an image of a painting (c. 1820) of Rama holding his attribute weapon. Rama is known for his great bow and quiver of arrows, and for being a warrior of extraordinary skill. - nethyrk  |
