Here is an image of a stamp depicting Saint Hubert (c. 656-727), patron saint of hunters, mathematicians, opticians, and metalworkers, holding a bow and arrow, designed by French artist Pierrette Lambert (1928- ), and issued by Monaco on June 11, 1982 to commemorate the 29th meeting of the Conseil International de la Chasse (now called the International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation), Scott No. 1342.

Archers in wheelchairs, designed by Pavel Hrach, printed by lithography, and issued by Czech Republic on June 18, 2008 to publicize the Czech team competing at the 2008 Summer Paralympic Games, held in Beijing, China, Scott No. 3390.

Here are images of the two similar special delivery stamps in a set depicting an archer using a crossbow, printed by photogravure, and issued by Equatorial Guinea on October 12, 1971 to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of independence, Scott Nos. E1 & E2.

Rama and Sita, the incarnations (respectively) of the gods Vishnu and Lakshmi, are the protagonists in the love story of the Hindu epic Ramayana. Here is an image of a stamp depicting Rama (holding his trusty bow) and Sita, printed by lithography, and issued by Nepal on April 18, 1967, Scott No. 200, plus an image of another illustration of the loving couple.

Here is an image of an airmail stamp depicting a bow hunter looking up at an airplane flying overhead, designed by "Bernet" (possibly French poster artist Albert Brenet (1903-2005)?), engraved by Emile Henri Feltesse (1881-?), and issued for use in French Guiana by the Vichy Government, but never actually sold there, Scott No. C8C.

Mas Alto ("Higher"), a stamp depicting a horse archer, engraved and printed by Perkins, Bacon & Co., Ltd., and issued by Bolivia in 1925 as one of a set of ten stamps commemorating the centenary of the Republic, Scott No. 157.

Archery, an airmail stamp designed by French artist Claude Durrens (1921-2003), engraved by Claude Jumelet (1946- ), and issued for use in Wallis & Futuna Islands on October 25, 1971 as one of two stamps in a set publicizing the 4th South Pacific Games, held in Papeete, French Polynesia, Scott No. C38. (Compare this stamp to the similarly designed stamp issued for use in New Caledonia and Dependencies which I posted a few years back on the previous page of this thread.)

Here are images of the four stamps in a block commemorating Scythian military history, designed by J.G. Logvin, printed by lithography, and issued by Ukraine on January 29, 2002, Scott Nos. 452 and 452a.-d. Note: The ancient Scythians were renowned for the lethality of their mounted archers in battle.

Here are images of the two stamps in a set commemorating the 900th anniversary of the Battle of Manzikert, in which the Seljuk Empire decisively defeated the Byzantine Empire, printed by lithography, and issued by Turkey on August 26, 1971, Scott Nos. 1889 & 1890.
