My First Australia KGV Cover

Nothing too fancy. Nice clean cancel and state service perfins.

Nice cover, makes us wonder what those two Rail people
were talking about, on Govt business.

Not a big day philatelically, Australian aviator Kingsford Smith
had died over Burma on the 8th.
Italian collectors may have "officially sealed" things on their minds
because the Italian Govt were opening all registered letters
going overseas, ensuring no more than 50 Lire left the
country at a time.
League of Nations sanctions over the war in Abyssinia.

I would not have thought they would be that scarce..but then again I am getting good bids on 1945 Australia covers !!

What is KGV, as in KGV covers?

King George the 5th "sideface" Australian stamps, Peter,
as shown in scan.
They have almost a religious following in Australia.
