Anyone else see this listing on ebay?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/170898390784

Thought it was a very interesting Scott# 114, I've never seen anything like it. Is this just a perforation freak or what? I bet it goes for over $100 just because how interesting it is.

Wow, talk about your 'jumbo' margins. An interesting one to watch over the next two days.

Interesting stamp alright. Nice to see a shift on both sides of the stamp.

This is a straddle copy from the last vertical row on the left pane, When the sheet was cut into the 2 panes of 150 the cut was shifted to the right producing the large right margin. When it was perforated the sheet was improperly positioned causing the perforations to be offset to the left. This definitely produced a lovely copy here but the remaining 135 stamps on that pane waould have has really bad centering.

All the examples in this vertical row would have a chance to be close to the same, but the rest as you said would be pretty awful.

Nine bids already ... up to $39.89 ... and still two days to go for the auction. As mentioned earlier, it will be interesting to see how much more activity this item receives.

Any other predictions what it may go for?

It may be nine bids but only three bidders.

Here is a similar stamp, only better-centered, on one of my vintage covers:

That's a really nice copy with great centering. It's the first one I've seen on an actual cover.

My impression is that what you see on the left side of my stamp are the marginal sheet markings, i.e., that it is a copy from the left-most part of the sheet. I haven't researched that far.
