Excited, Yet Pesimistic That I Am Getting Some 'New' Stamps.

My great-aunt, in her 90s, called today and said that she
found a large stamp album from when my father was a youth,
and she was going to "try and send it to me", "when she gets
a chance"... I thanked my father's aunt profusely and was
very excited to hear this news, however I am not holding my
breath. Her age, and my past experience with this sort of
thing has not panned out well. I was supposed to get all of
my father's belongings long ago, and never saw any. I have
never met my aunt, and only spoke to her on the phone maybe
3 times in my life.
