As I'm going through my stamps I'm finding some stamps where I have several copies which I'm thinking of selling. I'm using stamps2go.com to buy some of my stamps and I could sell through them also.

But how do I assign an honest grade to the stamps? For a mere $50 there is a software program that claims to do that from a scan, but that is a LOT of money to invest in software rather than stamps. I can certainly mention if the stamp appears damaged, but beyond that I don't know. I suppose I could do as at least one such seller does and carefully scan each stamp for sale and the buyer gets the stamp whose scan they saw. A bit of a bother, but that way the buyer sees what he is getting.

Advise would be appreciated. And btb, I am not talking about expensive stamps.
