I have what I believe to be the subject item. I wonder if somebody could look at my pictures and give me their opinion as to the authenticity of these stamps. Compare MH-MiNr1, Blatt 1I with Blatt 1 II.
Thank you very much.

Is there a HAN number in the left margin of the pane? For example, H 4622.15.

What I have is pane 1 of the MiMh 1. According to the Michel, Mh 1 had 2 panes(HB) 1I, 2 panes (HB) 2I and pane (HB) 3. Heftblatt 1 II didn't appear until MH 5.16 in 1915. The difference of course is that HB 1I is the Friedensdruck in 1910 and HB 1II is the Kriegsdruck in 1915. So I guess what I am looking for is whether I bought the Friedensdruck or the Kriegsdruck. Thanks to all.
Pete

If I'm not mistaken, all 1 II panes have a HAN.

In reply to PostmasterGS' last post, I'm attaching a picture of the pane. It consists of the edge and 6 stamps. According to the auction description, it was pane 1I of MH Mi#1. It does not have a HAN. However, my contention was that according to the Michel catalog, MH 1I was issued in 1910 and the Kriegsdruck was MH 5.16, issued in 1915 and contained pane 1II. Hence, the stamps I purchased should have been the Friedensdruck or not been offered as MH Mi#1.
Thank you to all though, I have learned another lesson.
