Using Mounts Inside A Stockbook = Overkill?

I have been housing a part of my collection (the cream) basically in Hawid mounts kept inside Lighthouse and Prinz stockbooks. Just to combat the weather (heat and humidity).

Been around 2 years without any problem whatsoever.

I am wondering if anyone else has tried this method for a longer time and satisfied using it. Ofcourse it is a bit of overkill, (considering the cost involved).



As I am shifting my collection to Vario Stocksheet, I need to decide whether I will disturb these or keep them as they are?

All my stockbooks are kept in a dust free environment inside steel cupboards with glass doors.

Need some expert opinion here.
