I just received these from an ebay seller yesterday for $1.50 total. Mostly canceled, but 9 MLH one of which is an overprint that I cant make out.

May not have been the best deal in town, but I like to see stamps from every where.

I cannot see how you can question the value,
looks OK to me for $1.50
Forget about the cost all the time, enjoy the stamps.

I quit thinking about the expense years ago! I just get a thrill on the history and beauty of the stamps. I figure anytime I can score a lot like that for around 2 bucks US... Deal. My wife thinks Im nuts, but she supports me and my bits of interesting paper.

Possibly, because I am an Aussie,
I relate to purchases in "the meat pie rate"
Aussie staple diet is a meat pie, curently around $5 > $5.50 here.

$1.50 or $2 is a couple of bites into a meat pie :)
and look at the enjoyment you get
Guykickinit will be sorting for hours that lot.

I just received an ebay purchase from John Thomas Stamps (victoria)
300 Romanian stamps for $5.50 (That's 1.83 cents per stamp)

By the time I sort out the duplicates the cost will probably rise
to somewhere around 20c a stamp but crikey, what a hobby!
