There was a fantastic Ukraine collection on ebay with great photos.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/UKRAINE-191...047675.l2557

I would like to copy those photos (preferably to MS WORD) but I do not know how to do it.

Can anyone help?

Great collection with great information Timm - thanks for the link. Just right click the images and do a "save as" to your local drive. Then insert into Word.

I have downloaded the images - what a great collection of Ukraine's 1918 Shagiv Shahiv set. I have always loved those simple but beautiful stamps. I showed my few stamps here:

Timm, can you change the title of this post to Ukraine: The Shahiv Issue, 1918

That will help future researchers

Edit: Change Shagiv to Shahiv.

BeeCee: Thank you for all of your work. I haven't figured out yet, how to change the title.
Can these sections be broken down into smaller sections so they would fit MS Word?

Nice find on the stamps! I have a set of those stamps in a glassine, but I have no way to know if they are genuine or forgeries, and I don't really want to spend the money to expertise them. I'm considering joining the UPNS (Ukrainian Philatelic and Numeristic Society) to get some help with my stamp pages.

Timm, go to the top of your post and click on the edit button as per the image below. Then click on Post changes.

You can edit the images in MS Paint included with Windows, or other image software such as Paintshop Pro or Photoshop.

I will eventually cut them apart for my own use.

These stamps should be labeled "Shahiv" and not "Shagiv." The Cyrillic on the front of the stamp clearly has a "H" sound and not a "G" sound.

Thanks apastuszak. I will correct my posts. I had never heard the terminology before seeing the ebay pages.

Shahiv was the name of the currency used in 1918-1919 Ukraine.

BeeCee: Thank you for all of your help!

I've been collecting stamps and seals for over 50 years and I still learn something everyday.
