So here I am asking question I know nothing about, but Jeff is more or less wording this. He does not have a Stanley Gibbons catalog and would like it if someone could tell him something about this postcard and maybe a SG number and approximate value. He said something about wanting to retire and needing a "good" stamp. Any help please?
(Laurie for Jeff Lovell)

My SG Commonwealth and British Empire does not list postal stationery. It is going to be a pretty specialized resource that will. I think the H&G catalogue is still the best source for identification.

Unless there is some sort of specialness related to a die variety, I'm afraid the overall condition won't be a friend to any potential value.

Jeff would be happy with a H&G catalog number or any catalog number for that matter. I guess he knows what H&G stand for (certainly not me - Laurie)

As per my comment on the 2nd question, not in Gibbons, and in the 50c range of valuation.

H&G is Higgins & Gage, which hasn't been updated in 25-plus years. Good for i.d., but not good for current values. It would help with some idea of relative scarcity.

I believe Great Britain is found in Vol. 7 (of 19) volumes.
