Most of us have purchased album collections, packets, dealers' stock boxes, kiloware, and accumulations. What is the most valuable item you found and what did you pay for the lot?

For me it was a $10 purchase of a hard bound "Modern Stamp Album" from 1940 which contained the usual fare of old common worldwide stamps. I was delighted to find an 1872 German Empire embossed Eagle and Shield 9kr red brown (Scott #25) erroneously hinged in the Baden German State section!
