Hi, stamp is from Oceanie, a French possession. Yevrt number is 183 from 1948

Yes, it is French Oceania (French Polynesia) Scott #161, 1948.

And if you use Scott, they list the country as French Polynesia, and the catalog number would be #161. 2013 catalog value is $0.50 mnh and $0.35 used.
