German censored mail cover. Trying to determine if the 20 and 25 stamp (3rd image) are connected or are they two different stamps pasted on the cover precisely to look like they are connected. If they are connected, is it norm? Tks for any feed backs.

I would use a magnifying glass to look at it closer, but as far as I can tell I would say no they are not connected because the perforation holes at the top are larger and a bit off compared to the lower ones. It's probably just a real close matchup.

As best as I can tell from Michel, only the 12, 16, and 24 pfennig of this issue were ever printed tete-beche and se-tenant, plus the one 3-stamp souvenir sheet. Therefore the stamps of the OP are not connected.

In addition, it would not be logical to have a oberrandzähler (counter in the top margin) on a pair of two different denominations.

Doug's correct. These were never printed together, and even if they were, sheets with different denominations don't have the oberrandzähler.
