Here is an image of a stamp depicting a proposed National Archives and Library Building, engraved and printed by Thomas de la Rue & Co., Ltd. and issued by Dominican Republic on May 22, 1936 as one of a set of 13 stamps to raise funds for the erection of the building, Scott No. 317. Note: Dominican Republic's current National Library, Biblioteca Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña, was inaugurated in 1971. - nethryk  |
